I think we’ve all known that this has been coming for quite some time. I’ve been putting it off for a while, but I’ve known for the past couple of days that I need to do this. Which is why Sarah and I made sure that Katie and Maya ended their little war. We’ve been around for quite some time. I believe our original mod opened this rp back in October of last year. I joined in late November and since then many things have changed around here. Many members have come and gone in these 11 months that we’ve been opened, and we’ve gone through two mod changes through this time. To those of you who are actually sitting here and reading this letter I want to thank you for sticking with us. I know that since Sarah and I became mods activity hasn’t been that great. Honestly we haven’t been very active since Manny left as mod, but we carried on anyway just a group of kids who wanted to carry on with our storylines and continue on as a family. I’ve drug this out long enough, but I think it’s time for us to close. I would like to say that I’ve loved rping with all of you lovely people past and present members. I love how bacon became a thing in this rp, and I’m sure somewhere in the tumblrverse we are known as the bacon rp. I’m not sure what else to write here, because I’ve never been great with goodbyes or anything like that. I hope that at some point we all cross paths again and rp together again somewhere. Taking Chances was the first family that I joined that lasted for more than a week so it’s kind of hard to let go of this, but it’s for the best. I should end this since it’s become nothing but me rambling on. So, I wish you all the best of luck in your lives and in your role playing. It has been an honor to roleplay with all of you.
With love and lots and lots of bacon,
-Riley aka your Maya
your ask box isn’t turned on so we can’t contact you back.
We go through times where it’s really active but then things seem to trail off and it gets pretty quiet. It’s a cycle, really. There are certain characters who are consistently active while others tend to come and go as they want (which is, admittedly, a bit annoying.) Although it can get frustrating, it’s not ever going to get any better unless people, new and old, actually put in the effort and try to keep things moving. Hopefully this kind of gives you an idea. I apologize for not being able to give you a very straight-forward answer.
I just noticed that the two of your are not members of the OOC blog. If you want to join just message this account and I’ll link you to it.
We could always use a Tori. I actually think that Katie and I were talking about that the other day. I know that I’d really like to have a Tori.
Everyone please follow Becky Baker.
